Midnight

I sit alone in the corner of a crowded bar wondering, “Will I always be alone?” A beautiful woman approaches my table and asks if the seat across from me is taken. We sit and talk quietly for awhile. As I get to know her better, I realize that this is the woman I have dreamed of all my life. I hear the fireworks signaling that it is January 1^st, 2010. I look over and the lady is gone! Lying on the table is a napkin with the number 555-2010. This is going to be a good year after all!
