Drabble Challenge #58

Prompt: fool

It could be argued that he's foolish, of course. Going amongst them, when they're so dangerous. They're like a tank of sharks, rabidly reactive. They seek only self-gratification--and he's appealing fodder, should he slip up...should they smell blood.

But there's so much to be gained from them, if one survives. He has studied them, learned their triggers and their distractions. When at risk, hand the shark a "bite stick"--and you swim away free.

With such a safety margin, why not work cooperatively to achieve goals they both desire?

To deny that they're sharks, now...THERE'S a fool.
