Pirates

She stared at the impressive ship. It was one of the most beautiful vessels she had ever seen. Her mind traveled the choppy seas of history, trying to recreate the many exciting scenes it, and its crew, had encountered. Had it once been part of a noble fleet before being brutally overtaken and reassigned the horrors of criminal servitude? Or, had it simply been a lone carrier of rare and exotic goods, gladly handed over by its crew in exchange for the freedom to live? She concentrated intently on it, trying to conjure up a drabble honoring the prompt "pirates".
