“Mr. Grasshopper, may I ask you a question?”
The grasshopper sighed as he spit a wad of brown gunk. “Yes, I suppose you may.”
“Why haven’t you asked me for a kiss?”
“Why should I? We‘ve only just met.”
“Your brother, Mr. Frog asked. In fact, he promised that once I’d kissed him, he’d become a prince.”
“What did you do?”
“I ran away.”
“He isn’t my brother.”
“Oh! I just assumed! You are both so good at…you know, the whole jumping thing.”
“Pardon the pun my dear princess, but perhaps you should’ve taken that little leap of faith.”
