Lessons in Perspective

Try this.
Soak your right hand in a bowl of hot water. (Not THAT hot. Jeez.)
Simultaneously, soak your left in this bowl of ice water.
Hang on, let them acclimate! You want them to 'be One, with the water'.
There. Now, put both of them in this bowl here.

Is the water hot, or cold?

Oh, so they don't agree? You have one thoroughly convinced that the water is cold, while the other is quite sure it is hot...?
Interestingly, neither one is able to "see" the water for what it "really" is...which is, lukewarm.

Kinda like people.
