Oops

They cautiously looked over the ledge they were left on when the floor dropped open. The bottom of the pit was at least 100 feet down and covered in brown slime.

“That was close.”

“Yep. Now how do we get back to the other side of the room?”

“Will that brick you took out to open the floor go back into the wall?”

The brick slid in about halfway and stopped. “Now what?”

“Push harder!”

Pressing with all his strength, the brick slammed home. The ledge started receding into the wall.

“That doesn’t look like it was a good idea.”
