Drabble Challenge #12

Prompt: power

“Daddy,” I hear a quiet voice whisper in my ear.

Still half asleep, I respond, “What is it sweetheart?”

“Daddy, will you get up and play with me and my dollies?”

“Baby, I have been at work all night and just got to bed a little while ago,” I say. “Give me a little time to get some sleep and I will play with you when I get up.”

“But Daddy, I can't play with you when you are asleep,” my precious five year old daughter insists. “Please!”

“Which doll is mine?” I ask as I climb out of bed.
