Drabble Challenge #127

Prompt: lethargy

The Saturday afternoon sun glomped past the window and ensnared Matt in its lethargic warmth as he lounged at his kitchen table and ignored the drone of the TV. He sighed and sipped his now room temperature beer.

“I’m bored,” Karen complained from the couch in the living room. “What do you want to do?”

“Kill zombies,” Matt said.

“What about sex?” Karen asked half-heartedly.

“Rather kill zombies,” Matt replied.

“Me too,” Karen answered. “Do you know where any are?”

“There was one in the basement,” Matt said.

“Killed it last night,” Karen said.

Matt sighed and sipped his beer.
