Drabble Challenge #79

Prompt: leap

For years I have had a major disliking for leap year. It poses many problems such as, a birthday falling on February 29th. A party every four years is not enough! I have the solution. There are 365¼ days in a year. There are 12 months in each year. 365.25 x 12 = 4383 x 60 (number of minutes in a day) = 262980. 262980 / 365.25 = 720. 720 / 24 (number of hours in a day) = 30. So all we have to do is just have 12 months with 30 days in each month. If you don't believe me, just do the math!
