No Means No

As a doctor, I see it all too often. A female patent will come into the er totally devastated. She'll be crying and saying something about how she begged him to stop. I'll get a rape kit and do the usual tests. Meanwhile she'll continue about how he said she deserved it or brought it on herself. I try to comfort her by telling her it isn't her fault. Men who say this only say it to try and cover up what they've done. I tell her that no means NO and that what happened to her wasn't her fault.
