Winter swoops in,
bringing bitter cold.
A time of mourning,
and of death.
The photos of a deceased artist,
hang on the museum walls.
The dried up flowers,
are buried in their snowy grave.
Childhood sweethearts,
are reunited in death.
The trees baron limbs,
sway in the wind.
A mother's son,
says I love you for the last time.
A Winter storm,
delivers snow and ice.
Gone their separate ways,
their friendships have ended.
A little bird,
lies frozen in the snow.
A time of mourning,
and of death.
Winter swoops in,
bringing bitter cold.
But Spring will come again...
