Drabble Challenge #113

Prompt: closed

“Will you stop bitching? Please?”

“Jerry, I just don’t see how you can plan a trip and not check the weather.”

Jerry sighed. “Laura, the weather doesn’t tell you when the bridge is out.”

Laura huffed, slamming her back stubbornly against the car-seat, staring out the window, not able to truly hold onto the bad mood, the small mountain-side road providing a beautiful diversion. “Well, it’s been a nice trip, even with the detour around the—waterfall!“ she finished with a gasp.
