A Man's Gotta' Do

“How am I supposed to know what ate him?”

“You’re looking at the picture, Chuck.” Matt ineffectually bangs on the monitor.

“Uh, that won’t help. This picture is too low res. Could be a demon, might be Mr. Smoke. What’s it set on?”

“Looks like the remainder of his torso,” Matt lifts the laptop out of the bloody goo.

“The settings on the camera, Matt?”

“Set it? I barely had time to pick it up!”

“Don’t tell me. You never read the instructions?”

“Okay, I won’t.”

Matt violently shakes the slimy computer – irritating Charlie by producing a clear picture onscreen.
