To Dream a Little Dream

“Hey, Matt,” Charlie said as he typed away at his keyboard in the early morning light, “I had a weird dream last night.”

“Did it involve naked girls?” Matt asked semi-interested as he perused the morning paper.

“No,” Charlie said.

“Zombies?” Matt guessed.

“No,” Charlie replied.

“Naked zombie girls?” Matt tried again.

“No,” Charlie answered. “I dreamed that your ex-wife would show up here today.”

“Why didn’t you say it was a nightmare?” Matt laughed.

BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! Slammed the knocker on the front door of the office.

“I KNOW YOU’RE IN THERE,” screamed Matt’s ex-wife, AJ, from outside.
