Blind Confidence

"This way," Matt said, waving his torch towards another seemingly endless corridor.

Charlie frowned. The curse-breaking ritual had only taken an hour. The other five had been spent trying to find the exit.

"Are you sure you know the way?"

"Yup. After all, who figured out the spell?"

"I did."

Matt ignored him, staring thoughtfully at another branching passage.

Charlie looked down, spotting signs that they'd rested here two hours ago. They were going in circles!

Before Charlie could point this out to his smug friend, Matt shouted triumphantly, pointing towards daylight.

Charlie grumbled. How did he always do that?
