"You don't need glasses."
"Are you sure?" Clark asked.
"Yes. In fact, your visual acuity is much better than normal."
"Oh... Can we check again?"
"Why? It's not like your vision is going to miraculously get worse." The doctor laughed and Clark joined in, half-heartedly.
"No, of course not."
Clark thanked the doctor and left. If he was going to be able to use glasses as a disguise one day, he was going to have to start wearing them soon.
Now he had to find another optometrist... and this time he would have to try harder to fail the test.
