Drabble Challenge #61

Prompt: safe

She’s never trusted her own decisions, knowing her lack of intellect.

She’s never trusted her ability to provide, coming from a poor family, being minimally educated.

She hasn’t chosen her religion, but been told right from wrong.

She doesn’t teach her children about the world, for that’s a father’s job, said father's affirming her ignorance.

She knows that her husband will relieve all worries that might tempt her pretty little nose to wrinkle - that being a curse to women. He’s told her so, himself!

Doing her duty, she coasts through life - leaving to him the decisions of her living it.
