The Press clamors, pens to paper, microphones to the speaking mouth: “She’s going to cut taxes. She’s morally against abortion. She’s not going to give handouts to people too lazy to work. She wants less government in every aspect of American lives!

“She’ll fight for our families and preserve the sacred definition of marriage!”

In private, the candidate complains to her Press Agent: “What are you doing? This isn’t me! Those aren’t my opinions at all!”

“With all due respect Ma’am, do you want to be elected or not?”

“Of course!”

“Then from this moment on, these opinions ARE you.”
