Drabble Challenge #115

Prompt: twisted

It all started when my Grandpa passed away. In his will he left me his favorite floor lamp. It was a beautiful brass lamp with a large shade and three arms, each of which had a bulb at the end. I carried it home, plugged it in, turned it on, and poof! Sparks flew everywhere. There was a short in the wires. Well, this was my Grandpa's lamp and I wasn't about to throw it away. I got some new wire and twisted the end of it around a coat hanger, rewired the lamp, and now it's good as new!
