“Mrs. Tucker,” the detective began. “I don't know exactly how to tell you this, but your husband has been murdered.”

“I tried to tell him that going out late at night was dangerous. I warned him over and over, but he said that he had to get food for the kids!” Mrs. Tucker replied as she broke into tears. “How did it happen?”

“We are not sure but we found him beside the kitchen stove with a chunk of cheese in his mouth. He was on a block of wood with a piece of wire snapped down across his neck.”
