Drabble Challenge #44 [Alternate]

Prompt: landing

It took her a long time to figure out how to get to the main concourse of the airport. She’d tried to walk, to use up a bit of her nervous energy, and encountered a dead end before realizing she needed to ride a train.

"I’m sure she’s worried by now," she sighed as she saw the overhead sign reading ‘SOUTH BAGGAGE CLAIM.’ She looked around, trying to get her bearings, and hurried in the direction the arrow indicated, glancing yet again at her watch.

She turned at the sound of her name, and they were in each other’s arms.
