I came upstairs after supper to check my Facebook and phone messages.
"Well... guess if you answered my call(s!) you would know that Stan and I got married today. Oops? :)" read the email from my youngest daughter. I immediately called my voicemail.
"Hi, Mom. I wish you’d answered your phone! Call when you can. It’s me, Caroline, in case you don’t know," her voice said.
"Tell her your last name," a deeper voice chided before the message ended.
I dialed her number excitedly. "You got married!?! On Leap Day!?! Call me as soon as you get this message!!! Congratulations!!!"
