Drabble Challenge #93

Prompt: spell

Looking over her resume he asked, “Why should you be the person we hire?”

“Because I’m *very* good at what I do.”

“I’ll be the judge of that.”

Keeping eye contact, she stood and slowly walked around the desk. Reaching his chair, she lightly stroked a finger across his cheek. “Of course you will,” she said in a sultry voice. “I expect nothing less…”

He started to speak, “What are you…” then stopped, his face expressionless.

“…than what I want. You *do* understand, don’t you?”

“Of course,” he said blankly. “Whatever you want.”

She smiled. Her mother’s spell worked perfectly.
