Drabble Challenge #33

Prompt: buried treasure

A homeless guy stopped me on the street today; he asked if I had any change. I fished in my pocket and gave him everything in it...or so I thought, until I put my hand back in and noticed I had missed one coin.

An obscure parallel struck me. Perhaps when we believe we've given all we have, we may still have resources left untapped. (I didn't even know what kind of coin it was, until I had a look.)

Could it be another friendly reminder from the Universe? Keep tabs on your personal inventory...and always keep digging.
