Drabble Challenge #92 [Alternate]

Prompt: relative

"I'm not convinced that truth is relative. "

"Okay, here's an example. Consider a dog who never bites you, but regularly bites me. Is he a biter? That's relative."

"No. The absolute truth is that the dog is likely to bite YOU, but unlikely to bite ME. You didn't pull away far enough as an observer.

"It's not 'truth' that is relative; it's experience. Experience depends on your personal perspective, filters, feelings and environment at the time. Example: curling up in warm pajamas with hot chocolate. Blissful, in December after shoveling your walk. On a sweltering summer afternoon? Not so much."
