Working Vacation

Holly slogged back to the cabin, wearily dragging her mud-caked boots and shovel as she trailed her Uncle Matt. She dropped her blood splattered, slime soaked backpack against the cabin wall as Uncle Matt held the screen door open for her. She glared at her uncle as she edged past him toward the bathroom where a hot shower waited on her. She combed some of the dried zombie blood out of her stragglely blonde hair and whimpered at little.

“Thank you Uncle Matt,” she hissed hatefully as she pushed the bathroom door open. “This is the best family vacation ever!”
