Immortality was gifted to the insanely rich and demons and angels were unleashed upon creation, to prey or protect as the color of their souls pulled them. In the very early years of the Singularity, horrible, bloody atrocities were committed against the innocent and evil alike, for God was pulled to earth and chaos strode slavering under the moon, strong and insatiable. In White Chapel the Ripper was reborn and Mycroft and an ineffective Lestrade the only witnesses to his bloody canvas. Even the Titans realized their bloody mawed brethren had to be brought to heel and Moriarity was summoned.
