Fish and Relatives stink after three days

In 1980, I attended WCU. It's a relatively small college nestled in Cullowhee, NC. A couple of local characters, Jimmy and Coonie Buchanan, roamed the campus and generally acted obnoxious towards people.

Jimmy was grossly fat and sported a handlebar mustache, resembling a human walrus. He'd wear T-shirts that either bore the Confederate flag or some country song lyric he liked. Coonie was older, but much slimmer. He'd visit the bank wearing a mask and say to the women tellers, "Hey honey, I'm the Lone Ranger."

I eventually found out their great grandmother married my great grandfather. We're related. Whoopee.
